Prosthetic Dentistry is concerned with the replacement of teeth and other structures of the oral cavity. The subject is taught from 1st year B.D.S. to Final year B.D.S. The first two years are pre-clinical years when students are taught on models. During this period, the students also get trained in various laboratory procedures.

Dental material is an aligned subject of Prosthetic Dentistry and is taught in 2nd year B.D.S. Here the students get acquainted to materials used in dentistry.

Attached to this department is the museum for Dental Materials which aids in the learning process of students.
